Marcela Jaoko

Marcela Jaoko, FNP-C, is a dedicated board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of diverse experience in healthcare. Marcela has worked in various healthcare settings, including the ICU, hospitalist care, emergency room, and community health, where she emphasizes patient-centered approaches and preventive care and health education.

Her extensive background allows her to address her patients’ medical needs while fostering strong patient relationships. Marcela earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from El Centro College, followed by a Bachelor’s degree from Texas Woman's University, and completed her Master's at Spalding University. Committed to continuous learning, Marcela actively participates in professional development to stay current with healthcare advancements and best practices.  Her commitment to empowering patients drives her to advocate for accessible healthcare solutions in her community. Thus, The Weekend Health Clinic was born. The Weekend Health Clinic is a direct pay clinic open to serving all Texans through sick visits, medication refills (no narcotics), weight management, and erectile dysfunction.  Aside from patient care, Marcela enjoys spending time with her 2 children, gardening and listening to music.
